Impact & community benefit

Measure what changes — not simply how many people start a job.

RRS is building an outcomes framework that follows the journey from recovery and readiness through sustainable employment and retention.

Our impact framework

Four levels of measurable outcome.

During the pilot, RRS will build an evidence base across candidate, employment, employer and wider community outcomes. Published figures will be based on verified programme data rather than projections presented as achieved results.

Candidate outcomes

Work-readiness, confidence, skills development, attendance, engagement and successful completion of supported work experience.

Employment outcomes

Interviews, job offers, employment starts and 30/60/90-day and longer-term retention.

Employer outcomes

Candidate suitability, attendance, satisfaction, retention and willingness to recruit another RRS candidate.

Community outcomes

Progression from treatment to employment, reduced employment barriers, increased economic participation and reduced stigma.

What we intend to report

Transparent programme measures.

Reach

Candidates referred, candidates accepted, treatment partners, employer partners and supported opportunities.

Progress

Readiness assessments, employment plans, barriers addressed, placements started and structured check-ins completed.

Sustainability

Employment starts, 30/60/90-day retention, longer-term progression and employer willingness to recruit again.

Community Interest Company

Community benefit should be visible and accountable.

RRS is being established as a CIC. As the organisation develops, its community-benefit reporting will be designed to show who was supported, what changed, what was learned and where improvement is still required.

Evidence before claims

Pilot first. Publish verified outcomes next.

The website will not present unverified pilot targets as achieved social impact. Baselines, definitions and reporting periods will be documented as the programme moves into live delivery.

Impact reporting principles

01Clear definitions and reporting periods.
02Candidate dignity and privacy protected.
03Outcomes separated from promotional claims.
04Learning and improvement reported alongside successes.
